A Global Digital High School

One of our examples, the African Leadership Academy in South Africa

How Would we build a global islamic school?

When we first started thinking about this idea our original model was the African Leadership Academy in South Africa. A place where young leaders come together from throughout the continent of Africa and spend two years together thinking, and building together. But with the state of global Muslim politics where could we build something like that? Malaysia is amazing, but the winds of politics have impacted giants building Islamic schools around the world. South Africa? Maybe one day in the future. Turkey? So much beauty and so many visa issues. So we went deeper, and though we believe in the blessing of heart based person to person learning, we also believe in the blessing of global connections that can only be made sometimes online while we also figure out ways to bring everyone together. Thus was born the School of the Ummah. It also doesn’t hurt that the Stanford Online High School is ranked the top college prep school in all of California. Interested in learning more?
