Connecting the Diaspora of Hearts

We’ve come from so many places on this earth

But our lives share a common destiny as we walk together.

In a time of crisis, or in a time of peace this is a story of

8 billion beating hearts.

We share this one fragile planet.

The air we breathe.

The land we walk on and the oceans we swim in.

Imagined borders that surround us, some more fortified than others.

Borders for many of us define our lives today.

For global capital and those with the right passport, borders are easy.

For the global masses, these borders tell us where we can and cannot go.

For the world's 2 billion Muslims, 1 out of every 4 people on this earth

Our lives are interconnected by the diaspora of our hearts, of our families

And a spiritual lineage that stretches back fourteen centuries.

But we are only told stories that put us in boxes to police our identities

What if the full story was told about our faith, about our lives, about our cultures

The story of our love for humanity and our stories as protectors of the world?

This is for the future builders.

The dreamers

Those who want to escape from the futility of generations past destroying our shared world.

Media has been built to divide us, we ask what if it was built to connect?

This is a manifesto written across screens.

We need you.

Beyond languages,

Beyond cultures,

Beyond faiths,

Beyond all barriers and borders,

We need each other.

This. This is for all of US.
